Most
teens need about 8 1/2 to more than 9 hours of sleep each
night. The right amount of sleep is essential for anyone
who wants to do well on a test or play sports without
tripping over their feet. Unfortunately, though, many
teens don't get enough sleep.

Dehydration is defined as the lack of adequate fluids
for the body to carry on normal functions at an optimal
level. Water accounts for approximately 55 to 60 percent
of an adult's body weight. While a loss of 5 percent is
considered mild, 10 percent may pose a significant health
risk and a loss of 20 percent can result in death. Most
experts agree, if simply staying hydrated is your goal,
